At a Glance

Ansar and VDP are a training-based grassroots force. Each upazila has one Upazila Ansar and VDP office. This office under the Ministry of Home Affairs is run under the direction of the Director General, Ansar and VDP under the District Commandant. Due to land and infrastructural problems in the metropolitan area, the activities of the upazilas are conducted in the office of the district commandant.
